Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic

Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska

In 2003, Sharon was appointed Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic, serving Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. As consul, she works to further economic, political, educational and cultural interests on behalf of the Czech Republic.

Sharon is a past president of the Greater Kansas City chapter of People-to-People International (GKCPTP), past board member of the International Czech Republic_Flag ImageRelations Council of Kansas City and a current board member of the International Trade Council of Kansas City and the Greater Kansas City Czech & Slovak Club. Additionally, she is a member of Central Exchange, International Visitors Council and the Czechoslovak Society of Arts and Sciences.

Sharon is presently a business continuity consultant and project manager with Hewlett Packard (HP). Her work helps business clients protect their information technology infrastructure and improve productivity and results. She holds a master of business administration degree from Avila University, and a bachelor of science degree in business from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Sharon resides in Kansas City with her husband, Gary Lofstrom.
